Blow, 2007, paper, glass, wood. 33"x30"x10'.
In Blow, the State of the Union Address, read to the nation by George W. Bush on January 28th, 2003, is cut out of 14 sheets of 40” x 60” paper. The excised text is then placed along the length of a long black, glass-topped table to mimic cocaine. The 40” x 60” panels of signage paper, from which the speech was removed, are hung on the walls surrounding the table resembling memorial plaques.
